There has been yet another business robbery in the Lenasia CBD after a group of criminals robbed a shop in Grand Place.
It is understood four armed suspects stormed into the business on Friday and held up the owner at gunpoint.
The police’s Bafana Ndimande says they are investigating a case of business robbery.
“One of them pointed him with a firearm and he jumped over the counter where he was standing. He then took cash from the till and other items to an undisclosed amount of money. The other three males were standing guard and they then left.”
Bafana has appealed to the community to assist police with information that may lead to the arrest of the criminals.
This is the latest in a string of incidents that has been plaguing Lenasia following a number of crime activities in the suburb including murder, hijackings, robberies and bogus police officers.
